The Smokefree Pacifica Beats finalists played off in Raye Freedman Centre, Epsom Auckland on Saturday night after being selected from regional finals around the country with Zkabby Jams from Edgewater College taking the first prize of a NZOAir music video grant worth $5000, a NZOA music recording grant worth $5000 and $3000 worth of musical equipment from MusicWorks.
The 2012 winners are:
1st Place - Zkabby Jams from Edgewater College
2nd Place - Stella & Georgia from Rotorua Lakes HS
YPT Stage Image Award - Zkabby Jams
APRA Songwriters Award - Stella & Georgia
Smokefree Mana Wahine Award - Stella & Georgia
MAINZ Musicianship Award - Eliza Benge
Te Taura Whiri Native Language Award - Stella & Georgia
Smokefree Best Vocals Award - Revived Rhythm
