Outward Sound Recipients Round 2 2017

Outward Sound is pleased to announce the second round of grant recipients for 2017.

Nineteen International Music Market Development Grants were awarded this round:

David Dallas
19-date tour of Australia following 'Hood Country Club' release.

The Black Seeds
10-date North American tour inc. Sierra Nevada World Music Festival in California and Victoria Ska and Reggae Festival.

Devilskin
UK/Europe shows including Download Festival and Airbourne support slot.

The Bats
15-date European tour in support of 'The Deep Set' release.

Kane Strang
UK/Europe tour including a showcase at The Great Escape.

Sola Rosa
UK/Europe tour including multiple festivals.

Campbell
Songwriting and networking trip to Los Angeles and New York City.

Delaney Davidson
European and UK tour including showcase at The Great Escape.

Ekko Park
6-date tour of Italy following up on success of 2016 singles.

Ha The Unclear
Australian tour to promote 'Big City' single.

Josh Fountain
Networking trip in pursuit of publishing, label and songwriting connections in Los Angeles.

Master Blaster
UK/Europe tour including Radar Festival in Germany.

Mel Parsons
20-date tour of Germany.

Orchestra of Spheres
15-date tour of Europe and the United Kingdom.

Ria Hall
Promotional shows in Australia in support of new album.

Sam de Jong
Songwriting and networking trip to Los Angeles.

Theia
Networking and performing at MUSEXPO 2017 in Los Angeles.

Yoko-Zuna
Promotion showcases in Australia in support of new album release

Alae
Promotion in Australia including a performance at the Footstomp showcase in Brisbane during the week of Big Sound.

 

Three International Music Business Development Grants were awarded this round:

The Maple
Attend The Great Escape, visit key European markets and meet with extended Aldous Harding team.

Saiko Management
To attend Music Matters 2017 in Singapore.

Loop Recordings
Meeting with current and potential business partners for future international releases and tours.
