Co-written and produced with frequent collaborator Rob Kleiner in Los Angeles (APRA Silver Scroll finalist track Best Thing In The Room, Show You What Love Is, ABC Stumptowns ‘Tragedy Boy’ and Clear History) ‘See Me Soon’ is an expression of struggle and resilience throughout Covid-19.

After moving to Los Angeles two months prior to lockdown, Lisa has been keeping busy recording, making videos from her kitchen (recent singles include ‘Clear History’ & ‘Show You What Love Is’) hosting live ‘Piano Karaoke’ nights  and fostering animals, but it’s certainly not been without its hardships. See Me Soon is a love-letter to family and friends back home.

Musically, ‘See Me Soon’ is inspired by the classic songwriting style of Randy Newman and the fragility and melancholic nature of Alice Boman, however very much made her own with Lisa’s hypnotising vocals and reflective lyrics. The song was produced by frequent collaborator/ Grammy nominated producer Rob Kleiner.

If you’ve seen one of the many music videos by Lisa, you’ll know she’s an animal lover, and ‘See Me Soon’ is no exception. The video is a heartwarming story based on the 1950’s Russian cartoon ‘Little Gray Neck’, a story about a female duckling on a journey, and the friends it makes along the way.

No stranger to being away from home, after spending five years writing and performing in Melbourne, a residency at the prestigious Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity and the starring role in the critically acclaimed theatre production of ONCE: The Musical in 2019, Crawley relocated to Los Angeles in 2020. After four EP’s, two albums and regular single releases, Lisa will be releasing her third album mid 2021.

The positivity and creativity Crawley displayed throughout the pandemic certainly seems reflective of her journey as a musician – always imaginative, always open-minded and always a survivor.’ - Audio Culture
